WHAT WAS ACHIEVED

Fifty-four program participants received comprehensive support, including consultations, psychological care, and surgical or aesthetic treatment.

The consequences of injury may require not only surgical or aesthetic treatment, but also psychological support. Recovery should therefore be approached comprehensively, taking both physical and psychosocial needs into account.

The "(Not) For Beauty’s Sake" program combined reconstructive surgery, modern cosmetic procedures, and mandatory psychological support, creating an integrated pathway of care after injury.
