THE PROBLEM
Treating chronic and phantom pain requires specialized equipment, qualified teams, and dedicated infrastructure integrated into the recovery process.
HOW THE PROJECT HELPS
Establishes specialized centers that will expand patient access to modern care for chronic and phantom pain.
3 hospitals → 3 specialized centers → 2,000+ patients per year.
Chronic and phantom pain can significantly complicate recovery and everyday life. Effective treatment requires specialized services, modern equipment, and a comprehensive approach.
UNBROKEN is establishing three specialized Pain Management Centers at St. Panteleimon, St. Luke's, and St. Nicholas Hospitals, where patients will receive comprehensive care from multidisciplinary teams. Treatment will combine modern pharmacological, physical rehabilitation, interventional, and psychological approaches.
Once the project is completed, more than 2,000 people per year will be able to access specialized care, expanding access to modern treatment for chronic and phantom pain across the UNBROKEN ecosystem.
